VFA-37 Ragin' Bulls

Ragin'! VFA-37 is VPAC's F/A-18C squadron led by CO Milkman 556 & XO Madness 404. We strive to be the most versatile squadron by training to our multi-mission capabilities. CAP, CAS, BAI, SEAD, DEAD, STRIKE, OCA, DCA, FAC(a)...we train to them all while maintaining the ability to operate from both land and "the boat", day or night. Continual training is the key to mission success and allows us to fly by our mantra, "Look Sharp, Fly Sharp"

VX-9 Vampires

VX-9 is a squadron comprised of pilots and RIOs for the F-14A/B Tomcats. The "Vampires" are multirole capable, focusing training on CAP, CAS, S/DEAD, ESCORT, STRIKE, and BAI. We operate off of airfields and CVs in any weather, day or night. Missions are accomplished through pre-planning and extensive cooperation. Look sharp, fly sharp.

VMA-223 Bulldogs

The VMA-223 are ground focused pilots able to take off from anywhere and put warheads on foreheads with the AV-8 Harrier. We may lack A2A weapons but make up for it in our ability to work with other aircraft to destroy ground targets without putting our aircraft in a dangerous position for prolonged periods of time.

13th Fighter Squadron Checkride Info

In order to join the squadron and be able to participate in missions, you will need to complete the following items in a checkride with the squadron leader. Checkride Requirements:
    1. Cold start 2. Takeoff (With radio calls) 3. Rejoin formation 4. Engage bandits without friendly fire (Both AIM-120 & AIM-9) 5. Enter waypoint from given coordinates and navigate to that point 6. Find ground units with the targeting pod and create a markpoint 7. Drop GBUs on ground target 8. Landing (Any pattern or straight in, with radio calls)
Whilst not required to pass the checkride, you will need to learn how to use weapons such as Dumb bombs, GBUs, & HARMs. These are the most common weapons used in our missions and you need to know how to use them to be effective.

VMA-223 Checkride Info

In order to join the squadron and be able to participate in missions, you will need to complete the following items in a checkride with the squadron leader. Checkride Infomation:
    • Cold Start • SRS comm check • Take-off Conventinal & Rejoin • Take-off Short & Rejoin • Take-off Vertical & Rejoin • Tacan Navigation • Basic Formation: cruise, echlon, parade, line-abreast, trail • Waypoint generation (Grid and/or Coord) • JDAM TOO employment • TGP TGT designation • AGM-65F employment • Overhead-break landing, conventional and short
Whilst not required to pass the checkride, you will need to learn how to use weapons such as Dumb bombs, GBUs, & APKWS Rockets. These are the most common weapons used in our missions and you need to know how to use them to be effective.

110th Fighter Attack Squadron Checkride Info

The checkride for the A-10 squadron is very basic as pretty much everything other than the start up is taught in squadron so to pass the checkride you only need to: Checkride Requirements:
    1. perform a start up (without autostart 2. create a new waypoint from co-ords given during the flight and then navigate to that point 3. Drop/fire 1 of each type of weapon on a target. ○ gun ○ unguided rocket ○ dumb bomb ○ Guided bomb (can be either LGB or GPS guided) ○ Maverick (maverick type of your choice) 4. Land safely
I am only looking for the the end result and don't mind how you get there with 2,3, and 4.

229th Aviation Regiment Checkride Requirements

AH-64D Longbow Checkride

General Pilot Checkride:
    • Full Start • ATC Taxi (Ground) • ATC Takeoff and Pattern (Tower) • Comms (ATC and Strikeforce) • Navigation (Using TSD) • Full Shutdown
Weapons w/ GeorgeAI Checkride:
    • Using Hellfire with changing laser code • 30mm Chaingun usage • Rocket deployment
CP/G Checkride:
    • TSD navigation • Comms (ATC and Strikeforce) • Weapons usage (30mm, hellfires, rocket both in coop mode and without target storing/management.

UH-1H Flight Checkride

Checkride 1 (General Flight):
    • Full Start • ATC Taxi (Ground) • ATC Takeoff and Pattern (Tower) • Comms (ATC and Strikeforce) • Navigation (Use of Both ATC and Nav Equipment) • Full Shutdown
Checkride 2 (Weapons Systems UH-H1):
    • Demonstrate successful use of both Rocket and Gun pods • Ability to hit targets at different ranges
